The lawn ends at the sand. Then Taipu de Fora.

Caminho do Mar sits on Taipu de Fora, on the ocean side of the Maraú Peninsula in southern Bahia. Two rows of apartments face each other across a strip of grass, and the grass runs down to the beach.

Taipu de Fora is the beach the owners put in their own bio as the best in Bahia. The buildings sit two rows deep behind it, wooden steps at the end of the lawn, nothing to cross.

Wood, shutters, and a hammock on the veranda.

Hardwood, white walls, louvered shutters, air conditioning. Upper units take the veranda and the sunset. Ask the owner which unit suits you, and what comes with it.

The lawn runs from the buildings to the sand, so there is no road between you and the beach.

Hammocks are strung on the verandas, and the walk to the water takes under a minute.

There is a pool on the property, and the beach is the reason to come.
