The Experience
The southwest tip of Madagascar. Andrea built it. His daughter Tyffanie runs it now.
Chez Andrea is in Sarodrano, a small village on the Indian Ocean side of southwestern Madagascar. Far enough from anything that you have to choose to go. The ten rooms are locally built, simply furnished, and lit well.
The food comes out of the sea that morning. Italian and Malagasy cooking. Tyffanie knows the water. She grew up here.
